RecFlow / Resources
Teach one thing at a time.
A practical recording workflow for short lessons and software tutorials.
Plan a lesson, not a marathon
- Write one outcome: what should the learner be able to do afterward?
- Prepare a clean example account or project. Hide notifications and private information.
- Record a short test with your microphone and optional camera enabled. Listen back before continuing.
Record in small sections
Show the starting point, walk through the action, then pause on the result. Leave a little space before and after each section so you can trim cleanly.
Keep the pointer calm. Use zoom only when it makes a label or control easier to see. Review automatic zooms instead of assuming every suggestion belongs in the final lesson.
Review before publishing
- Listen for clear narration and distracting background sound.
- Check that text remains readable at the learner’s viewing size.
- Export an MP4 and watch it before adding it to your course platform.
RecFlow makes the recording; course hosting, student accounts, and payments belong to the platform you choose.
