A few answers.
Why Google sign-in?
It links your access to your account. Use the same Google account in the app. Signing in does not upload your recordings or charge your card.
When do I pay, and who handles billing?
Paid subscriptions start at US$5/month, charged when you confirm at Stripe Checkout and renewed monthly until canceled. A higher amount is optional and includes the same features. Webzir manages billing and payments for RecFlow; Stripe processes payments. Founding and complimentary lifetime accounts remain free.
How do cancellation and refunds work?
Email info@recflow.studio to cancel or request help. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through your paid period. If the app does not work for you, contact us within 14 days of a charge about a refund of that month’s payment. See our billing and refund terms for full details.
Why does macOS warn me on first launch?
The beta isn't notarized by Apple yet. Right-click the app → Open → Open once, and macOS remembers. Notarized builds are coming before v1.
Where do my recordings go?
Recordings are saved in ~/Movies/RecFlow and processed on your Mac. If you start a livestream, video is sent to the streaming service you choose. Sign-in and licensing use online services; local recording does not mean the entire app works offline.
Is there a Windows version?
Not yet. RecFlow Studio is built natively on macOS screen-capture APIs — that's where the quality comes from. Windows is on the long-term map.
What Macs does it support?
macOS 13 Ventura or newer, Apple Silicon and Intel.
What happens when the beta ends?
The first 100 users keep everything free forever — a founding spot is claimed by downloading the beta and signing in. New paid subscriptions start at US$5/month, charged at checkout and renewed monthly until canceled. Existing founding and complimentary lifetime accounts remain free. Exports you already made are always yours.
